The value has utilized by AMG to fund their HR and employee benefits related initiatives as well as offset cost for the consultancy services provides by BizX. AMG also secured a long-term lease contract for 25 units - Audi Q7, 2 Units Audi R8. All of this and many more purchases were made possible for AMG by BizX without having AMG to spend much cash.

Al Nabooda Automobiles, Dubai (Dealer - Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche) has been optimizing sales of slow-moving consumer and commercial vehicles inventory via BizX since 2007. BizX has helped Al Nabooda with AED 52 million plus in incremental sales and new customers. Businesses in our network buy these vehicles in exchange for their products and services.

The value generated against the cars is utilized by Al Nabooda to offset expenses and save as much possible cash outflow on purchases. Media, Sponsorships, Signage, Advertising, Events, Electronics, F&B are to name a few of the options made available by BizX through its network of businesses.

Emaar Entertainment has a unique portfolio of attractions including some of the city’s most unique entertainment venues across The Dubai Mall and Dubai Marina Mall including Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, Dubai Ice Rink, KidZania®, SEGA Republic and Njoi.

BizX team worked with Emaar to secure the media buying campaign to include massive outdoor media hoardings across United Arab Emirates. As part of the project, BizX helped Emaar pay a sizable portion of the project as credit from Emaar which was utilized by BizX community businesses to buy tickets at their entertainment venues.

As a result, Emaar saved cash. Over and above, every time BizX members visited the entertainment zone, these venues received new sales and incremental footfall with so much spare capacity on hand always. This also created more word of mouth marketing for Emaar and generated repeat business opportunities while saving Emaar a cool AED 400 k plus in cash outflows.

Representing the complete range of Nissan, Infiniti and Renault vehicles in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, Al Masaood Automobiles (AMA) has been associated with BizX since 2015. Automobile industry always faces a challenge every time a new model year or face lift model of a car is due to arrive. Imagine if the dealer is sitting with unsold inventory units from previous model year or the outgoing model.

With our bespoke monetization and valuation solutions; we have supported AMA move multi-million in car inventories on ongoing basis. As a result, AMA benefits as they are able to book revenue immediately and offload slow moving stocks without losing much value with the change of model year or face lift.

Some of these car inventories moved by BizX have been also utilized by large media houses like Abu Dhabi Media to promote their subscription campaigns as well as to give away during Ramadan to increase their consumer loyalty, the viewership, listenership and readership. This has also resulted in incremental brand and PR value for the car brands and AMA.

Being part of Landmark Group automatically makes them cash rich however that doesn’t mean that they don’t like to trade off and barter their capacity to offset some of their marketing expenses. With BizX, Fitness First booked prime outdoor media branding space on Dubai beaches.

On the hind side, Fitness First always has capacity to sign up more and more members at their Fitness First clubs and increase the utilization of available resources while their operating costs are already fixed due to the nature of their business. The cost of the advertising campaign was settled against memberships offered by Fitness First which were promoted by BizX through its B2B network of businesses.

Emax is the largest electronics retail chain in the Middle East, and an integral part of Landmark Group – the iconic retail conglomerate founded in 1973 that houses highly successful retail concepts such as Babyshop, Shoe Mart, Home Centre, Splash, Lifestyle and Max.

Emax purchased media advertising in Al Etihad Newspaper, The National and multiple radio stations by utilizing marketing and media publishing houses associated with. BizX has also supported Emax for direct distribution of Emax catalogues across UAE on regular basis. Smart thing about Emax working with BizX – they paid for all of it with Emax Shopping Gift Vouchers.

Shopping vouchers offered by Emax were further effectively and strategically utilized by BizX to generate new sales and incremental footfall from out network of businesses. BizX also promoted Emax brand further by pushing some of the vouchers for leading newspaper subscription campaign. These vouchers directed subscribers to visit Emax and redeem Emax gift vouchers at Emax stores resulting in incremental brand awareness and guaranteed new sales.

BizX successfully engaged with Etihad Airways (National Airline of UAE) to facilitate Ramadan Iftaar Dinner Project in July,16 for its top 175 VIP Corporate Customers. BizX was able to successfully host the event for Etihad at the premium 5 star – The Oberoi Hotel in Downtown Dubai. Another procurement project delivered for Etihad includes 100’s of Apple iPhone, I-pad, Apple Watches acquired through BizX.

This was a cash expenses otherwise for Etihad to incentivize travel and trade businesses to include the Travel Agents and other important channel partners. BizX helped Etihad utilize their available perishable capacity and sunk costs to settle the value of these purchases vs. rather pay in cash which would have never come back to Etihad in any case.

In the process, we also promoted Etihad Airways to our network of businesses. Some of the businesses and owners in our network who otherwise travelled with other airlines; switched some of their itineraries and booked with Etihad via BizX resulting in new customers and incremental monetization.

Majid Al Futtaim Malls is the proud owner of 20 such destinations including Mall Of The Emirates and City Centre chain of malls. MAF has utilized bespoke procurement solutions by BizX services related to mall promotion raffle.

Typically, MAF gives away cars in raffle which they buy on cash from the car brand dealers. However, with BizX, MAF was able to secure amazing discounts on the car purchases as well as BizX accepted the payment for these cars in the form of mall shopping vouchers.

The shopping mall vouchers are strategically offered by BizX to other businesses in our network or to make various purchases by BizX across their malls. This brings guaranteed incremental value in the form of footfall, new sales, new customers to MAF malls and its tenants.

The vouchers are utilized and spent back at the shops located inside the mall. Whereas if the same cars would have been paid with cash like the standard traditional payment terms then all this incremental value would not have been achieved by MAF malls.

Atlantis has been working with BizX since 2016 to create a new marketing budget by maximizing utilization of its perishable and offering available excess capacity as hotel room nights and water park admissions which are perishable revenue resources. Annual average occupancy for hotels is anywhere between 70-80% which still leaves behind a lost revenue opportunity in millions of dollars while all the fixed expenses remain the same.

Opportunity - There is no reason for Atlantis or any other hotel not to consider all possible options to monetize empty hotel room nights and water park admissions capacity. Hoteliers know that it costs them just 20%-25% average incremental cost per room per night or on F&B to accommodate additional customers. Also, incremental cost per guest in a water park is not more than 5% typically.  All fixed costs in both cases are to be paid every day irrespective of number of guests.

While Atlantis continues to maximize cash returns directly, they are equally happy to let BizX promote its hotel rooms and admissions capacity in water park to 100’s of loyal and committed BizX network businesses across UAE and US without disturbing their regular cash revenue channels.  

As a result, Atlantis has generated millions of dirhams in new revenue and expanded their purchasing power to afford and purchase massive media advertising campaigns on Hoardings, Lamp Posts, Unipoles, Magazines, etc. which were otherwise not possible with the limited cash budgets available for media and advertising.

Al Bayan & Emarat Al Youm, both being daily newspapers have to publish and print a certain number of fixed pages every day and manage website content no matter how many advertisers there are on any given day.

This creates an immense amount of excess capacity which goes underutilized every day. Rather waste, they have been proactively generating barter credit value with BizX by offering empty advertising space to BizX community businesses.

Result - The new value has helped them save millions in cash to purchase cars for senior management travel, for their subscription campaigns, staff incentives as hotel stays, lunches, perfumes, electronics, furniture vouchers to name a few.

Since 2008, be it the capacity available across their radio stations like CH4 FM, 89.4 FM, Al Rabia FM; CH4 group has generated more than AED 10 million in new value and incremental monetization of their perishable airtime and capacity through BizX.   

The value has utilized by the group to fund various purchases like cars, electronics, perfumes, jewelry, shopping vouchers, hotel stays, f&b vouchers etc for the owners, operations and the team incentives.

Result – utilization of unsold capacity to generate new value and purchase assets.
